The Sacred Heart Knights would like to thank the parishioners of Sacred Heart and students at the academy for helping us to collect over $2,000 in the 13th annual Baby Bottle Boomerang. We will be delivering the funds to HELP Pregnancy Crisis Aid soon so that it can be put to work helping moms with young children.
If you still have any of the baby bottles, please return them to the white container in the back of church. Any funds collected from these bottles will be saved for next year.
Donations to HELP from the Baby Bottle Boomerang provide services like ultrasounds, free diapers, training and baby cloths for their clients.
The Knights are also happy to announce that the Michigan State council has successfully installed the 40th ultrasound in Michigan funded by the Knights.
Through the Knights of Columbus Ultrasound Initiative, Knights of Columbus councils have teamed up with the Supreme Council to fund over 700 ultrasound machines nationally and internatioanally, costing over $20 million. These ultrasounds have been placed in all 50 states, as well as in Canada, Guatemala, Jamaica, and Peru.
