The Sacred Heart Knights are proud to announce the start of their fourth annual Thank You Mom campaign to collect baby supplies for HELP Pregnancy Crisis Aid. In the past three years we have collected over 10,000 diapers to help moms and babies in our community. Click here to get more details.
Thank you to all those who contributed to this drive on the weekend of March 23 – 25 and to all the Knights and their helpers who braved the cold to help the less fortunate. Preliminary totals are in and it appears that our council collected well over $1500 to help our mentally impaired brothers and sisters. Details on which charities will receive these funds will be available after our next monthly meting.

The 5th annual Sacred Heart Christmas Market was a great success and served over 130 children from across the Grand Rapids area. Pictures and details are available here.
The Sacred Heart Knights, wives and friends collected over 50 Christmas bath baskets. The baskets are for the children at Holy Cross Children’s centers. The baskets are combined with sweatshirts and other gifts collected by councils across the state. Details are available here.
On June 18th the Knights planned and supported our parish Corpus Christi procession. The procession stretched for blocks and brought Jesus to three of our home bound parishioners homes. More details and pictures here.
The Sacred Heart Knights of Columbus are working with Sacred Heart Academy to sponsor a council essay contest which is associated with the Knight’s Catholic Citizenship Essay Contest. The essay theme is “The Importance of Religious Freedom.” The contest is open to all Catholic students from grade 6 – 12 in the Sacred Heart Parish area.
