2018 Westfest

Westfest is getting bigger and better than ever this year. We will have live musical entertainment on Friday evening. During the day on Saturday you can find dance troops, fire truck tours and the Rockfish Realty Scavenger Hunt. Be sure to register for the scavenger hunt. On Saturday evening you can check out the Saturday Night Trivia event (be sure to purchase your tickets soon so you don’t miss out). Of course, great rides like Super Nova, Sea Ray, Twin Flip and the Zipper will be available on the midway throughout the weekend.

When you are hungry or just need to relax for a few minutes, come visit the Sacred Heart Knights of Columbus food and beer tent. The food tent is right across Valley on the Sacred Heart Academy and Parish grounds. You don’t have to worry about crossing Valley because we will have it shutdown for your safety between Park and Hovey. The Knights will have freshly grilled burgers and dogs, snacks and pops for the kids. We will also be serving craft beer from our friends at New Holland and Mitten Brewing. Mitten Brewing is providing this year’s signature brew, the Westfest Pale Lager. This brew will be available exclusively at the Westfest food and beer tent and at Mitten Brewing’s main site on Leonard. The Knights will be selling a Westfest stainless beer glass that you can take home and use at all your summer parties. It also gets you a discount on your first craft brew. For those who aren’t beer fans, we will have an assortment of wines available from Alliance Beverage Distributing.

The Knights are also bringing in food trucks to give you additional food options. Pork Fat Slim’s BBQBlue Spoon Food Truck and Silver Star Cafe LLC will be available at different times during Westfest. You can purchase food at these trucks and grab your beverage of choice in our food and beer tent.

Remember, buying your wristbands early can save you a few dollars which you can spend at our food and beer tent. Purchase tickets early in person at the rectory and get a free John Ball Zoo pass while they last. You can also purchase tickets here.

Please stop by the food and beer tent Friday evening, all day Saturday or Sunday afternoon. All profits from our food and beer tent go toward our charitable activities in the parish and community.
