This campaign, often referred to as the “Tootsie Roll Drive” is really a “Campaign for People with Intellectual Disabilities.” The nickname is due to the nature of the fundraiser, in which Knights and family distribute specially marked Tootsie Rolls in exchange for donations used to support programs geared to improve the Quality of Life for people with Disabilities. Many councils join together on Palm Sunday weekend with this common cause.
The Sacred Heart council’s 2024 MI Drive to help brought in just over $1,500 to help our brothers and sisters. Thank you to Family Fare and their patrons and the members of Sacred Heart parish. As you can see from the pictures below, the Knights enjoyed this charitable event.
