The Sacred Heart Knight of Columbus were proud to offer a soccer challenge on September 11th for kids ages 9 – 14. Prior to the competition, with Father Sirico’s help, the Knights held a prayer service to commemorate the lives lost fifteen years prior and pray for world peace. After the prayer service, the competition was held in the green space at the corner of Dayton and Valley using a new soccer goal the council helped purchase for parish and academy use.
The council crowned three champions;
- Rainey Kolenda
- Grace Kolenda
- Nicholas Barrows
Knights Regan LaMothe, Joe Gerke and Jim Hiske, presented medals and certificates to all our participants.
