On the feast of All Souls, the Sacred Heart Knights delivered the proceeds from the 2015 Baby Bottle Boomerang to Help Pregnancy Crisis Aid. Through the generosity of the Sacred Heart community and the hard work of the Knights we raised $2650 to help women and babies in need. Thank you to Joe Gerke for heading up the 11th annual Baby Bottle Boomerang.
If you still have a baby bottle, please drop it in the white container at the back of the church. The Knights need every bottle for next year.
Knights of Columbus councils nation wide have worked on programs like the Sacred Heart Baby Bottle Boomerang to collect funds to protect life. The funds collected by councils are matched by supreme funds from dues and other sources to purchase ultrasound machines. These funds have allowed the Knights of Columbus to purchase 500 ultrasound machines nation wide over the last five years for centers dedicated to helping women care for their babies.
