The Sacred Heart council received the Columbian award for the 2021/2022 year. This award recognizes councils with excellence in programming and charitable outreach. To earn this award councils must conduct and report programs in each of the four program categories (Faith, Family, Community, and Life) for a total of 16 program credits, with four in each category. Thank you to all the Sacred Heart Knights who contributed time to support our council. Examples of some of the programs completed by our council are;
- Faith – Seminarian Support via RSVP program, supported parish Corpus Christi procession and sponsored Catholic Citizenship Essay contest at council level.
- Family – Free Throw competition, Soccer Challenge and Father Daughter Spring dance
- Community – Spring MI Drive and supported Sacred Heart Christmas Outreach (Market)
- Life – 17th annual Baby Bottle Boomerang , ASAP Donation to HELP Pregnancy Aid and May diaper drive
